Nathan was raised and educated in Greeley. He later graduated from high school. After graduation, he worked production of farm produce and cooking at various restaurants.
Nathan was active in church in Loveland, where he sang and played guitar.
Nathan was very funny and loved to joke. He enjoyed music and playing video games. He loved to cook, bake and grill.
Nathan was very hospitable when he had family and friends over to visit. He was a good man and wonderful fiancée, father, son, brother and uncle.
Nathan is survived by his fiancée, Monica Oliva of Greeley; four daughters, Anastasia Zavala of Casper, Wyoming, Neenee Zavala of Greeley, Eluviana Zavala of Greeley and Aaliyah Zavala of Greeley; four sons, Andrew Zavala of Casper, Lorenzo Zavala of Greeley, Joseph Zavala of Greeley and Nathan Zavala, Jr. of Casper; his mother, Adela Zavala (Anthony Longoria) of Greeley; sister, Roxy Longoria of Greeley; four brothers, Steven Michael Zavala, Jr. of Greeley, Dion Zavala of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, Nick Zavala (Robin) of Greeley and Donovan Zavala of Las Vegas, Nevada; his very close friends, Donna Masterson, Daniel Masterson, Joe Wells, Ward Wells and Troy Masterson all of Loveland and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
