Michelle Rae Slack

She was born on January 27, 1960 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Kenneth and Shirley (Sodman) Inskeep. The family moved to Greeley, Colorado soon after she was born, and that's where she graduated from Greeley Central High School in 1978.

Michelle was a health claims processing specialist for State Farm Insurance for over 20 years. Although she enjoyed her work, her greatest joy was raising her two daughters. Michelle loved her family more than anything, and was so happy when she got to be a grandma. She loved cooking Thanksgiving dinner for everyone, and enjoyed her Hallmark Channel movies. Michelle was a devout Catholic, and was a member of St. Peter's Church in Greeley.

Michelle is survived by her daughters; Alexandria (Dan) Armitage, Ava (Chris) Page, and Chelsea Michener-Martinez who was like a daughter; grandchildren, Walter, Johnathan, Emily, George, and Isabella; siblings, Vicki Herren, Stephanie Mengis, Judy Adams, Cheryl Matthies, Christa Michener, David Inskeep, and Kevin Inskeep; as well as a large extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Shirley Inskeep, and brothers William and Robert Inskeep.

A celebration of life for Michelle will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Stoddard Funeral, 3205 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634.
