I was just informed about Kyle an hour ago and
still in shock from it. My HEART aches for your loss. MY THOUGHTS & PRAYERS  go out to all of you. 
Kyle & I were HT companions for several years and then my wife & I  taught your granddaughter in Primary as well. In all my time
of  knowing your family and being associated with Kyle, I can TRULY say he was one of the KINDEST & MOST LOVING MEN  that I have been blessed to know in this lifetime. I'm so grateful to have shared a few days in his shadow.

With great sadness, the news that came on Saturday was a shock.  Even though I only met Kyle once, we worked over the phone for a few years.  Kyle was a key member of our business partnership.  He was always very professional and handled his business the way all business should be handled, with integrity and honesty.  I will miss the conversations around the meat business and beyond.  My prayers with be you through this tough time.  I'm sorry for you loss.


My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hanson family. I am honored to  have Had the opportunity to work with Kyle and learn from his vast knowledge of the meat business.
The industry has lost a true professional and gentlemen and the world has lost a good man.

Dearest Hansens,
   I could not believe this absolutely TRAGIC news when I heard Saturday! I sat down & cried for your sweet family & that the world has lost such a shining light & beautiful soul! I have not seen you guys or Kyle for many years, but I do have many, many memories of Kyle from the years of my childhood/adolescence when I had the privilege of spending many many hours & days at your home, even getting to be included on some fun family trips. Kyle was not like other people, not like any of my other friend's Dads. He was so kind, energetic, fun, & maybe most of all SO funny with such a GREAT sense of humor!! I will never forget his kindness, him playfully calling me "Shayna Meister", teaching me to drive a 4 wheeler & snow mobile, & even making me feel like part of the family anytime I was around. But what will ALWAYS stick out most in my mind about Kyle was his extreme love & devotion to his family & the way his three daughters absolutely adored him & he them. He was a very kind & unique person, & it was clear he worked hard for his family & found his true happiness spending his time with Karen & his girls. I can only imagine what a loving & devoted Grandpa he was also! I know losing my Dad several years ago, the hurt & grief hits you like a freight train I know. I at least had over a year to know it was coming, try to make some kind of peace. I can't IMAGINE the grief & shock you all must be feeling at this time & my thoughts, prayers, & tears have been with your sweet family constantly since I heard! It will take time, but try to remember Kyle's wonderful smile & laugh & his playful sense of humor, & know that as you have time to heal, every time you are able to smile or laugh, I know this will bring him so much joy from above! I know he was a Rock & Hero to his family & a kind & devoted friend. Take comfort knowing he loved you all way too much to not stay close to you now! When you need to, talk to him, he will listen! I often wondered how Kyle kept all the numbers and figures straight the way he did. Often when the loading crew would run out of work I would try to find loads for us to do especially ii we had a high inventory of product. I’d ask him  “ can we load this load or that load”. He would hurry and look at the product availability and say yes or no. If we did what he told us we rarely had any problems. But sometimes I dint listen to him and do a little “freestyle” loading product and when I did that we would end up being short for another load. I learned to listen to him and do what he “suggested”. He sometimes called me “load ahead Harry”. He was extremely knowledgeable about his job and did an excellent job at it. JBS has lost  one of their best people. He was also a man of very strong integrity. He will be missed. 

Kyle was the ultimate team player.  He had the very difficult task of providing the shipping crews work while analyzing the inventory, arranging the lineup of deliveries to customers while analyzing the age of inventory,  and keeping everyone moving in sync while keeping humor and great attitudes amongst everyone.  A master juggler of sorts!  Thank You Kyle for directing us through some difficult times and providing us a shining light while working with everyone and allowing us all the opportunity to get to know you as a true human being with great values for life.

I worked side by side with Kyle for many years . Kyle was one of the few people who stood out as a special one,his work ethic his values his compassion for all people was unlike I have seen. I have never heard him talk negative about any one . He will be missed by all that had the chance to have associated with him. Thoughts and prayers to all of his family I'm sure he was taken for a higher mission. Thanks for the memorys Brad Low

Dear Family,  
Kyle and I were companions on our mission in Tell City, Indiana.  He was my last companion before coming home.  I always considered him my best companion.  I received this sad news from Greg Zellars today.  My wife and I want to express our sincere sympathy to your family.  I still have great memories of the months we spent together as companions.  As I was talking to Carolyn Zellars today, we shared many of the great memories we had of Kyle.  He brought great joy into our lives.  You will be in our prayers and we send out love.
