June Rose Morris passed away peacefully on May 17, 2020. She was 85 years old and living at the Good Samaritan in Fort Collins, CO for the last year where she made good memories and friends. She was recently diagnosed with non aggressive breast cancer in March that they could not do anything about due to how advanced it was and her already declining C.O.P.D., Spina Bifida & arthritis.
She was a beloved sister to those left behind (Glen, Illa & leona) who she often talked about in stories or about each others children and grandchild. A daughter in-law Marcena Lynn Morris and son John Houston Morris whom past away early 2008. She also leaves behind 4 grandchild (Evan, Kaytlin, Tristan & Dylan Morris) along with 6 great grandchildren that will all miss her.
Her time on this earth was short but definitely left an impact on every person she meet through the years. She had a great positive attitude regardless of the odds. She always tried to help out even if it hindered her in the long run. She would always donate her time to listen to what's going on and help you get through no matter what the date or time it was.
She could do anything except walk, she was a good swimmer, she loved to go dancing. She started a wheel chair square dancing group and she would travel and compete. She even tried skiing, riding a horse, snowmobiling and so many other things. Nothing could stop her.
To those of us that had the privilege to meet her I will hope you all would take that little bit of humor, sarcasm, kindness, compassion or comfort that she brought into our lives and pass it on to someone in your daily lifestyle.
She will be dearly missed and never forgotten.
