Jennifer was lovingly raised along with her sister Sandra on the family dairy farm in Hudson, Colorado.
She loved and cherished the farm life and her family. She attended Hudson Elementary and later graduated from Weld Central High School in 1971. She participated in many scholastic activities alongside her classmates and beloved network of friends. There she met her first love L. David Sigwardt. Jennifer and David married after graduation on June 24, 1972. They began a journey of life together with Jennifer attending University of Northern Colorado and David attending Colorado State University. Sadly, for Jennifer, friends and family this journey ceased when David was called home to be with the Lord May 10, 1975. Then Jennifer met James L. Scheid. They were entered into marriage March 12, 1976. Jennifer began her life with James L. in Hudson, Colorado. On July 7, 1977 they had their son James E. Scheid. Jennifer committed her life to raising their son Jim and continuing her devotion to James L. as a loving supportive wife. They lived happily in Hudson for many years. Upon her and James’ retirement, they relocated to Ft. Lupton, Colorado. There she met many more friends and adopted family. Jennifer stayed loyal to her parents and was a major part of their lives. She always carried the joy of being involved in her son Jim’s life. She faithfully cared for her parents in their later years. During this venture Jennifer dedicated many successful years of employment at Bank of Colorado up to her retirement.
Jennifer was a lifelong member of Grace Lutheran Church of Hudson, Colorado. She always had a steadfast faith in God. She was baptized, confirmed, and married in the church. She enjoyed being involved in church youth school and in the choir. She continually hoped and prayed everyone around her knew the Lord as she did.
Jennifer is survived by her son Jim of Hudson, Colorado and Sister Sandra Fuller (Richard L.) of Greeley, Colorado. She was blessed with the love of many nieces, nephews and adopted family she placed in her heart whom she loves and is very proud of.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Margaret (Stoll) Foos; loving Husband James L. Scheid; numerous aunts, uncles, and extended family.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
