Jamie Rivera

She was born on November 24, 1976 in Houston, Texas to Claudio A. Rivera and Elvira Grimaldo Rivera. In her early life, she grew up in Texas but traveled often with her family.

In 1987 she moved to Greeley Colorado where she attend school. Jamie previously worked as a courtesy clerk at Albertsons Grocery store.

Although Jamie bravely fought most of her life with health issues, a day never passed when she didn’t reach out to her family and friends to check on them and confirm they were “ok”.

Jamie’s hobbies included painting, coloring, making jewelry, dancing, puzzles and making videos.

Jamie blessed the lives of anyone she encountered. She was an incredible, fun-loving Tia to all her nieces and nephews whom she loved and cared for.

We will always miss her warm, thoughtful, and generous nature, but more than that, we will miss her hilarious, and always feisty sense of humor.

She is survived by her siblings: Ruben (Lucy) Rivera of Houston TX, Lisa Rivera of Evans CO, Rudy Rivera of Las Vegas NV, Claudio Jr. (Tammy) Rivera of Bellevue NE, Robert Rivera of Greeley CO, Donna (Martin) Corral of Greeley CO, Teresa Rivera- Lopez (Lolo) of Plattmouth NE, Angie Rivera (Juan) of Greeley CO, Anita Montoya (Paul) of Las Vegas NV & California, Rachel Rivera (James) of Greeley CO, Neomi Rivera of Greeley CO.

She is also survived by many special nieces & nephews, her fur baby, Lola, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. As well as her special friends at Fresenius Dialysis in Greeley.

She is preceded in death by her fiancé, Bryan Bray, her beloved parents Claudio A. Rivera and Elvira Grimaldo Rivera, her brother, Daniel, her sister, Victoria, niece, Tiffany and nephews, Demetrius "Mitche", and Ezequiel.

Visitation will be from 10:00-1:00 p.m. Thursday , March 09, 2023 at Stoddard Funeral Home. Memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m Friday, March 10, 2023, at Stoddard Funeral Home. Following the service, there will be a reception at the Moose Lodge; 3456 11th Avenue in Evans, CO.
