Geffery was born in Greeley, CO on March 2, 1994 to Roy and Justena Olin.
He is survived by his parents, Justena Olin of Evans, CO and Roy and Stacy Olin of Platteville, CO; his siblings, Karah Olin-Saarela of Greeley, Nathan Olin (Holly) of Laramie, WY, Kelley Peck (Kody Miller) of Galeton, CO and Savannah Hebert of Platteville; his grandparents, Wilber and Rosemarie Olin of Platteville and Darlene Porter of Evans; many aunts and uncles; niece, Nola and nephews, Keaton, Liam, Brayden and Zane.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Leroy Porter and his great-grandpa, Glen W. Armstrong.
Geffery graduated high school from Valley High in Gilcrest, CO. He worked on the family farm after school and then began working in oil and gas as a Compressor Mechanic. At the time of his passing, Geffery was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for Remprex in Denver, CO.
Geffery touched many lives. He was a best friend to everyone he held dear and was always willing to lend a hand. He had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious smile. Geffery was always up to try just about anything. Geff is well loved by everyone, especially his niece and nephews. He enriched our lives in ways that we are still learning today.
Geffery loved the outdoors; hunting, camping, climbing, swimming and riding ATVs were his favorite. There is never enough that can be said, especially about Geffery. He was a wonderful man and we are all blessed to have him in our lives. He had many close friends that lived his adventure with him and we are so thankful for that. He is home with his best friend, Boss the dog, and they are on to their next adventure.
A Celebration of Geffery's Life will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, 316 Elizabeth Avenue in Platteville. A reception will follow the Celebration of Life at the Platteville Community Center, 508 Reynolds Avenue.
