Eva was born on April 6, 1935 in Keenesburg, Colorado to William and Daisy (Dean) Kipp. She lived her entire childhood in the Keenesburg area, graduating with the Class of 1953. She met and married James J. Davis in Tacoma, Washington on April 9, 1955. They moved to Eaton, Colorado where they started a farm and cattle operation, continuing through the 1970s. Eva was a homemaker, skilled seamstress, baker and mother of Janet Ann and Bobby E. Davis. She was instrumental with the farm, helping in the harvest and feeding cattle, working alongside her husband for 19 years.
She moved to Greeley to help take care of her mother. She enjoyed hosting family and friends with her delicious home cooked meals and specialty desserts. She loved the game of tennis and won many trophies. She was known as a great net player.
She is preceded in death by her son, Bobby, her parents and five brothers, Paul, William, Dean, Robert and Charlie.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Rob Morse) of Marana, AZ, grandchildren, Brooke Forsythe of Billings, MT, and Jared Forsythe (Sara) of Frenchtown, MT, and great grandson, Andrew Forsythe of Frenchtown, MT. She is also survived by her twin sister, Cecilia Ann Warren of Cedaredge, CO and extended family.
