Emmitt Frank Hawkins

Emmitt was born on October 29,1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada, One of four children to parents of Dwight Emmite Browder and Sherry Lynn Hawkins. He graduated from Mountain High in White Pine county school district on April 23, 2007. Emmitt grew to have an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. Through the years he was often spending his spare time researching topics of interest and whenever surrounded by company you could be sure he would seize the opportunity to tell you all about it.

Emmitt was strong willed and stubborn at times like all, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave.An animal lover with three dogs and two cats, his most loyal companion Dups. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge gained through all of his life experiences: With a passion for his beloved job at Front Range Roofing that began 2016 as a sheet metal roofer and quickly climbed the ladder to become a sheet metal fabricator in 2021 which was the topic of many conversations. As well as studying for and receiving his CDL.

Emmitt loved traveling and never turned down a good family road trip. He really enjoyed his many trips to Florida, Mississippi, California, Hawaii, Texas, Oklahoma, Nevada and Louisiana. He also often made many good memories camping with his wife and family. Emmitt was a fisherman, grill master, star gazer, storm chaser, bowler, hiker and could fix or build anything with just one video away. One could say a jack of all trades.

Emmitt is survived and missed by his loving wife Candice Johnson of 19 years; and his six children, Chandler Johnson, Darren Dean, Marty(Mitzy) Hawkins, EmmaLie Payne, Bekah Hawkins, and Faithlyn Johnson, Forever cherished by his grandchild, Dean Frank Maire Johnson; Loved and never forgotten by his siblings Mellissa Demar (Victoria, Damon and Davon),Christopher Browder (Zayna and Derienne), and Eric Browder, maternal grandmother Constance Downing, his in-laws Olynn young, Shiloah Mccrackin-Young, Machelle Hufstetler-Mccrackin, and Jordon Payne; his nephews and best fishing buddies Samuel Meza-Mccrackin and Bently young; Friends Joe, Tim, Mike, and Derek; and numerous aunts uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by (paternal grandparents) Emmitt and Doris Browder and (maternal grandfather) Frank B. Downing.

The celebration of life service is going to be held on November 18, 2023 at 1pm at the Allnutt Funeral Service located in Greeley, Colorado for anyone who knew Emmitt. Address; 6521 W 20th Street, Greeley Co 80634. His family asked for all attendees to wear a piece of red in honor of Emmitt.
