Claude Whipple

Claude E. Whipple, age 81, of Greeley, passed away at home on August 2, 2021. Claude was born April 18, 1940 in Greeley, Colorado, to George and Naomi (Davis) Whipple. He married Lorene Walker on June 2, 1961 in Greeley.

Claude lived his entire life in Greeley, graduating from Greeley High School, and going on to own his own small business.

He was a member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends.

Claude is survived by his son Grant (Marleen) Whipple; daughters Deanna and Carrie Whipple; sister Kay Troudt; grandchildren Cody Martin, Holly Sloan, Dwayne Martin, and Elizabeth Greenfield Whipple.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Lorene; granddaughter Jessica Whipple; and by his brothers Jim Whipple and Robert Whipple.

A double graveside inurnment for Claude and Lorene will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3400 W. 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado, at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 with a reception to follow at the Allnutt Macy Chapel reception center, 6521 W. 20th Street, Greeley, Colorado.
