Catherine married our Grandfather Bill Daucher after he was widowed taking on two additional daughters and eight additional grandchildren. She was patient and loving. She was her happiest playing cards and always being the one to tell Papa to stop trying to cheat his grandchildren.  She was a wonderful southern cook and I cook her famous corn casserole to this day when our family gets together for holidays. We were very sad when Catherine moved suddenly after Pop died. She contacted our Mom a few times before Mom passed, we had been unable to find her in the past years.  I'm hoping she was happy being near her own grandchildren at the end of her life.  She talked of them constantly. Rest in Peace Catherine. Thanks for loving us all those years.  :purple_heart:

Thank you, I went to many bank picnics as a child and have many fond memories of the folks that she worked with.

Catherine and I worked at the Sanford Atlantic National Bank together when we were young. I was a bookkeeper and she was a teller. She was very smart, very efficient, and well liked. My sympathy to you, Ollie Hunter Forbes.
