Ashton VonFeldt sadly left us on February 3, 2023, after a brief, but strong fight with leukemia. Despite the shock of the sudden death, Ashton was surrounded by family members during his last days and went without suffering.
Ashton was a light to everyone in his life and deeply touched every person he met. He had the biggest heart and was given the chance to love and be loved, even in his short 11 years. He had a passion for school, especially history and science, and loved spending his time playing countless video games, learning jiu-jitsu and making movies.
Ashton had many dreams growing up, from movie director to video game designer he wanted his future career to be something he truly loved. Ashton hoped his best friend Levi would follow him around the country in pursuit of higher education or a zombie apocalypse, whichever came first.
Ashton was born on May 6, 2011, to Jenn and Daryl VonFeldt in Denver. He is survived by his parents, Jenn and Daryl VonFeldt of Greeley; sister, Matilda Preisendorf of Dallas, TX; grandparents: Steve and Karen Schreiner of Florence, AZ and Ed and Kathy VonFeldt of Camden, TN, as well as his beloved pets, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Ashton was predeceased by his brother Kaid Preisendorf, great aunt Kim Hahn, great uncle Bruce Schreiner, great grandparents Avis and Ed Schreiner, honorary grandmother Linda Preisendorf and family dog Remi.
