Andy grew up on a dairy farm in Kersey, CO, where he spent his childhood tending to animals and wrecking Mustangs.
Andy graduated from Platte Valley High School in Kersey in 1968. He then earned his Bachelor's in Communications from the University of Maryland, where he was also a member of the fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon.
Andy served in the United States Army and did two tours in Vietnam.
Andy worked as an IT Telecommunications Engineer for 40 years while also owning his own consulting firm for the past 16 years. He was a nationally recognized VP Architect and an author.
Andy enjoyed many of his later years living in Austin, TX before returning to his hometown in Greeley.
Andy is survived by his daughters, Andrea Bihain and Alisha Bihain-Chiaia (Sebastian) and a granddaughter, Anna Cosper (Keldon).
He was preceded in death by his father, Burgett Don Bihain, mother, Connie Bihain, the mother of his children, Judy Bihain and his brother, Donnie Bihain.
A visitation will be from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 followed be a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. both at Stoddard Funeral Home. Interment will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
