Alexander "Dan" Daniel Neighbors

Dan was born to William D Neighbors and Ann E (McKinley) Neighbors in Denver, CO June 6, 1945 and lived in Golden CO until 1952 when he moved with his parents to Greeley. He attended St Peter's Catholic School until the 8th grade and graduated from Greeley Central High School and Colorado State University. He joined the family business McDoy Distributing where he became an owner.

He met the love of his life Christine across the street in third grade. They walked to and from school together every day. Their friendship grew into marriage in 1967. Together they had three beautiful girls: Lisa, Jenny and Becky. He was happiest when he was with his family. He loved to fish, hunt and be outdoors. He lived for family gatherings and trips, always packing early. But his favorite job of all was being a Papa. He loved his grandchildren without limit.

Dan was a man of great faith. He lived with a spirit of generosity and kindness. He would do anything for anybody. Dan was very involved in his community and loved to serve. He was a people person. Everyone loved him!

He is survived by Christine Neighbors of Evans, CO, Lisa (Jeffrey Isenmann) of Rochester, MI, Jennifer (Artimus Geisick) of Greeley, CO, Becky (Phil Wyperd) of Greeley, CO, and Elizabeth, Taylor, Michael, and Harper Brighi of Rochester, MI, Samantha, and Andrew Geisick of Greeley, CO, Daniel Wyperd of Greeley, CO, and sister Sally Belisle of Granite Bay, CA.

A mass of Christian burial will be held January 10, 2025 at 11am at St. Mary Catholic Church, burial and reception to follow.
