Stuart M Lubert passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 25, 2024. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother he is also mourned by the Temple Beth El community of Great Neck and his many friends.
Stuart was a dedicated educator having taught Physics for 44 years. He graduated from Albany State and Teachers College Columbia University with a Doctorate. He spent a significant part of his career as the Science Chair at Hewlett High School and later The North Shore Hebrew Academy High School.
Stuart was known for his love of helping others and his ability to build and fix almost anything. He had a marvelous sense of humor and a plethora of close friends.
He will be desperately missed by his wife Sandy, his daughters Melissa and Rachel, son-in-law Ross, grandchildren Zachary, Charlie, and Mia; his brother Edward and wife Susan, numerous nephews and nieces and his wonderful friends who were his family.
