Paul Wattenberg, born on April 29, 1931, in Paris, France, has left behind a legacy of love and boundless joy. He was the beloved husband of Linda Wattenberg for 63 years and together they shared a life overflowing with love and laughter. Paul was a devoted father to his three children, Lee, Debbie, and Wendy, and cherished father-in-law to Laura, Brett, and Steven.
Family meant everything to Paul, and his adoration and dedication extended to his grandchildren Jamie, David, Rachel, Kyle, Ryan, Jordan, Cory, Andrew, Ethan, Dylan, and great-grandchildren Charlie and Oliver. His heart filled with pride at the sight of each new addition to his growing family.
Paul built his legacy at Leon of Paris. As an entrepreneur and business man, Paul worked with his father, Leon, his mother, Rachel and his brother, Gary. His tireless efforts expanded his work into one to of the most prestigious fashion houses for men’s clothing, Adolfo. He worked side by side with his son, Lee for over 40 years imparting his knowledge and wisdom of the menswear industry. As a renegade in fashion trends he was honored as The Man of the Year by his peers! He was a man of love, laughter, and generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
We know that his memory will continue to inspire us to live each day to the fullest with the same zest for life that he embodied so effortlessly.
