Je te vois encore en cours avec moi au Lycee. Toujours souriant et accueillant. Au cours de judo aussi. Je ne m'inquiete pas pour toi. Tu as bien vecu et sera bien recu. Paix a ton ame. 

Really, a shock. I love that the message from the LFNY included Patrick's gorgeous yearbook photo. Many of us saw him and Marylin recently at the 50th reunion in 2019: that was the last time I saw him, and now I appreciate even more now much of a blessing  that reunion was (thank you again Rémy and company for organizing that). 
Patrick really did look much like the Lycée Patrick in the yearbook, just a mite older. The recent pictures complete the circle. 
All my thoughts to Marylin and the family on the loss of this beautiful, cheerful, generous person.

Diner du cinquantieme anniversaire de la classe de 1969.

Quelle bien triste nouvelle nous a trouve ce matin! Et quel choc d'apprendre que l'un de nous ne sera plus la pour participer aux reunions a l'avenir.
Mais Patrick sera quand meme la, veillant sur nous avec son sourire constant.

Comme beaucoup d'entre nous, on se connaissait depuis des decennies (six?) et avons partage nos annees au Lycee. On s'etait perdu de vue qund j'ai quitte New York en 67.

Quel plaisir d'avoir renoue avec lui et Marilyn a l'occasion du 40eme anniversaire de notre classe. Et encore plus recemment en 2019 lors de notre reunion pour le cinquantenaire a New York.

Nous avons passe de tres bons moments a retracer nos vies et partager nos souvenirs de jeunesse. Je pense aujourd'hui au temps trop court de notre "brunch" le dimanche pres de "Ground Zero" par une matinee splendide.

A Marylin et la famille, Mariam et moi envoyons nos condoleances les plus sinceres pour la perte de Patrick qui nous quitte bien trop tot!





Such a shock to me. Still reeling from it. I so enjoyed my Lycée years with Patrick,always bright, and funny but with a kindness and loyalty that were rare. I also was up close for the unbelievably passionate, tender and strong romance between Patrick and Marilyn, the Romeo and Juliet who found each other and a love that never died after 9/11. May Patrick’s memory be a blessing. He will be missed and remembered!!!

A shock indeed. I so fondly remember Patrick from our days together on 95th and 72nd St - and what I will always remember is his smile - his warmth especially towards me and my occasional struggles with French (I arrived in ‘62 without knowing a word) made each school day a little brighter. Dear Marilyn,  I always thought and will always think of you together - Patrick et Marilyn - since you’ve been together for all the years since our time together at the Lycee! My sincere condolences to you and your family. May his memory be a blessing



Dear Marilyn and family. I was at the Lycée with Patrick for many years and have many memories of him as a nice and fun guy. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Alphonse and I are so shocked by this sad news. I personally have known him since we were 11/12 years old.  Both Marilyn and Patrick  are very close friends.   I can't believe it. Très Cher Patrick, quel choque d'apprendre ton départ, tout un tas d'images défilent dans ma tête...les années d'insouciance au LFNY, nous étions jeunes et pleins de vie!. Tu étais particulièrement attentif aux autres et toujours à t'inquièter pour nous. Nous aimions partager avec toi car tu étais sage et sincère. Tu vas me manqué mon Cher Patrick même si nous etions très loin l'un de l'autre, maintenant je sais que tu seras là au dessus de moi dans ce ciel qui t'accueille. Garde moi une place à côté de toi, car je veux rester ton ami dans l'éternel.
