Walter Thomas Cohen

Walter Thomas (Tommy/TC) Cohen, 59, of Euless, TX, passed away unexpectedly on February 20, 2023 at Baylor Scott & White - Grapevine Hospital. He was born October 31, 1963, in Atlanta, GA, the son of Hyman S. Cohen and Patricia M. (Gardner) Donovan.

Tommy graduated from Hapeville High School, Class of 1981. Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Army at Schofield Barracks, in Oahu, HI. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he returned home to Atlanta with his future wife in tow. He began working for American Airlines as a stock clerk and relocated to Texas. He held many titles while working for American and his 33 year career ended in Labor Relations. He earned an Associates Degree of Art from Tarrant County College in May of 2015.

He loved traveling, the beach, good food, and anything Georgia Tech! Go Big Buzz!

He is survived by his mother, Pat Donovan and sister, Doris Anne Donovan both of Lawrenceville, GA, his son Tyler Andrew Cohen of Euless, TX and his son, Thomas Joshua Cohen and his wife Hazy.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on March 4, 2023. Interment will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery as well as some of his ashes will be scattered in Hawaii and at home in Atlanta. Those who wish to remember TC in a special way can donate in his memory to the Kidney Foundation.
