Peggy Louise Christison

Peggy was born October 23, 1943, to Elden and Louise Lacer in Henderson, Kentucky. She grew up as the oldest of seven children. Twenty years later, on August 2, 1963, she married the love of her life Elbridge Ray Christison; together they had two sons.

Peggy had a career in Allstate Insurance working as a Facility Administrator. When she wasn’t working she enjoyed bowling, drag racing in the Women’s Division, and playing poker with her brothers and sisters. She volunteered in the church she attended, Lonesome Dove Church, as well as GRACE where she became the Volunteer of the Year. Most importantly, she loved being a wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and friend. Those that knew her would describe her as being loving and compassionate.

She is preceded in death by her sister Judy Rae Varble, and her brother Robert “Bucky” Lacer.

Her memory lives on in her husband Elbridge Ray Christison, sons Elbridge Dion Christison (Ruth) and Christopher Ray Christison, sisters Wendy Sheman (Tom) and Darlene Smithart (Butch), brothers Darrell Lacer (Yvette) and Elden Dwayne Lacer (Rana), granddaughter Keshia Nichole Christison, great-granddaughter Ella Louise Christison, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will take place at J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home in Grapevine on Friday, June 16th from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Funeral Service will take place at J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home in Grapevine on Saturday, June 17th at 10:00 am. Following the service, Peggy will be laid to rest in Grapevine Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation in Peggy's honor.
