Justin Scott Kelly

July 19, 1969 – September 11, 2022

Justin Scott Kelly, 53, of Roanoke, Texas passed away peacefully early Sunday, September 11, 2022, in a hospital in Grapevine.

Justin Scott Kelly was born on July 19,1969 in Dallas to Bruce Ellis Kelly and Shiela Dianne Bell Kelly. He graduated from Sam Houston High School in Arlington.

At a young age, Justin taught himself how to program and to work on computers. As technology advanced, he would continue to explore the new technologies and teach himself new skills. His passion for software development extended beyond his career and he had several personal projects in the works. His colleagues looked to him as an expert and his code was recognized as elegant by several in his field.

Justin loved his family, and he adored his children. He would take every opportunity to teach to them about the world and to instill in them strong Christian values. He would teach about science and politics mostly as he was passionate about the universe, and he was passionate about his country.

Justin showed his love through provision, teaching, and cooking. He was an artist with spices, carefully practicing new techniques and he enjoyed seeing the joy his family took in his creations. While he was working or cooking, Justin loved to listen to music. He loved to laugh and make others laugh. He was an avid UFC fan. He loved to travel and to dream about traveling, and a good strong coffee could help make his morning.

Justin was the most loving husband and would dote on his wife daily always bringing her treats and making her laugh with his amazing humor. He would hold her tight every chance he got and made certain she knew he loved her dearly.

Justin is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his 2 sons and 8 daughters; his brother, Greg and several very close family including in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his best friend, Boran.

Justin was very loved and will be thought of and deeply missed every single day.

A visitation for Justin will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, 523 S MAIN ST, GRAPEVINE, TX 76051. Funeral Service at 11AM. Committal Service to follow at Bear Creek Cemetery, 100 Bear Creek Cemetery Rd, Euless, TX 76039.
