

She is survived by her husband Robert Harrington Moore; daughter Debbie Lovera and son Steven Moore; grandchildren Taylor Compton and Nicholas Lovera; great grandchildren Collins Compton, Walker Compton, and Rory Lovera; and sisters Rosemary Cuicchi and Linda Banchetti.
She is preceded in death by Spurgeon and Sadie Kinard, and Virgil and Rose Cavosie.
Jo Ann Moore was born on August 13, 1941, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to Joe and Hilda Cavosie. She grew up in Oak Ridge and graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1960. After high school, she went on to graduate from Mississippi State University in 1963 where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. While attending Mississippi State University, she met her husband, Robert Moore, and they were married in 1963.
Jo Ann was a member of LAGA, Lewisville Area Girls Association since 1978 to present day. She was also a member of the Metro Tennis Association and the United States Tennis Association (USTA). One of her biggest accomplishments was winning the USTA 5.0 Nationals. Her greatest accomplishment of all, however, was raising her two children and being a grandmother to her two grandchildren.
In addition to playing tennis, another one of Jo Ann’s hobbies was ceramics. Her favorite things were spending time with her children and grandchildren and playing tennis.
