Helen Pauline Rush Scott, 89, of Irving, Texas, passed away May 21, 2014 in Dallas. She was born December 12, 1924 in De Valls Bluff, Arkansas, the daughter of Robert and Annie Mae Mathis Scott. Pauline enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family. She was a devoted member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist, Irving, Texas. She also loved to cook and donated much of her time to the Salvation Army, cooking for the homeless. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold D. Rush; sisters, Evelyn Cullum, Francis "Louise" McMichael, Mildred Masters and Patsy Ruth Scott. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Belinda Rush Compotaro of Euless, Texas and David Rush of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brother, Robert "Junior" Scott of WIchita, Kansas; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2pm at the First Church of Christ, Scientist, 2250 W. Pioneer Drive, Irving, Texas.
