Debbie King

Debbie King, 53, of Georgetown TX, and formerly of Southlake TX, passed away on June 24, 2017 from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident in rural Williamson County on June 12, 2017. Debbie was born September 2, 1963 in Houston TX and took great pride in being a lifelong Texan. Debbie lived life with the greatest of passion and was relentless in excelling in everything she discovered and had the chance to influence, create and enjoy. Her passions included being a wife and mother, home decorating and remodeling, country music and Nashville, fashion and style, traveling across the country with her motorcycle friends, and the desire to help and influence family and friends all around her. Her energy and never give up attitude provided great inspiration to all. Debbie is survived by her husband Jim, son Dane Erwin, daughter Madison Erwin and stepson Jarett King; Father and Stepmother John and Jody Russell, brother Randy Russell, step sister Robyn Doyle, step nieces Aubrey and Chloe Register, and step nephew Hayden Register. Debbie is preceded in death by mother Peggy Jean Meynig; maternal grandparents Cecil Meynig, Hilda Locouture; paternal grandparents Raymond Russell, Katherine Williams. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, at the J.E. Foust and Son Funeral Home Chapel, 523 S. Main, Grapevine TX 76051. Family will receive friends and family at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Services will be officiated by the Reverend Rick Sutherland. A celebration of life gathering will occur immediately following at La Hacienda Ranch, 5250 TX-121, Colleyville TX 76034. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions in memory of Debbie may be made to the AutismSpeaks.Org organization.
