Mr. Ralph Adams Buchanan Jr.

A Funeral Mass was held Monday, January 8, 2018 at Chapel of the Valley L.B. Hall Funeral Home followed by interment at Eagle Point National Cemetery.

Buck was born January 20, 1926 in Sioux City, Iowa to Ralph A. Buchanan Sr. and Ellen (Anderson) Buchanan he was the youngest of six children and the only boy.

He grew up in Sioux City Iowa, and then he enlisted in the US Navy during World War II and was station in Papua New Guinea. Buck met and married his beautiful bride Patricia Lee Stalker in 1950; she passed away on July 24, 2011.

He was a devout Catholic and attended Saint Anne Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Buck enjoyed woodworking, keeping his car in pristine condition and making the best fudge on the planet.

Buck is survived by his children: Ralph Jr., Catherine, Robert, Carol and John. Sister Joyce Webster, Grandchildren: Dillon Buchanan, Chris Sims, Christopher Vinas, Ian Buchanan, Ashley Buchanan, Pamela Buchanan, Shaela Everson and Great Granddaughter Amaya Vinas.

Buck was preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia and sisters Cleo Roberts, Florine Derby, Laverne Hansen and Shirley McKenzie. Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901
