Stanley Bruce Bertog, born December 20, 1953, passed away in his home Saturday November 16, 2024, at the age of 70, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. Stan is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara and his children Janet and Stanley Jr. (Tabitha). He had seven grandchildren Isabel, Dylan, Khloe, Levi, Jacob, Olivia, and Cora.
Stan was a 20-year Veteran of the Air Force, and in his later life he was “Grandpa" not only to the children of his own children, but to many others in the community. He loved to learn and to teach others. He taught us to be curious, to explore, to believe, and to never stop growing.
A celebration of life will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Faith Community Church of Coopersville, 105 68th Ave. N, Coopersville, MI 49404. There will be a luncheon to follow. The family welcomes memories and messages at www.cookcaresgrandville.com in their guestbook online.
