Nancy Hake, age 81, passed August 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Ruth Hake. She is survived by her sister, Suzanne (Herb) Marbach; brothers Robert (Diane), and James (Linda). Her family also includes 11 nieces and nephews.
Nancy attended St. Francis Elementary School and Catholic Central High School. She was also a 50 plus year member of Beta Sigma Phi, a sorority for working women. She made many wonderful friends in her sorority. They kept busy with charity projects and social activities.
Nancy enjoyed traveling and frequently talked about her trips to Alaska, Hawaii, and Europe. Her favorite home entertainment included playing cards and making puzzles, all while listening to music by Luciano Pavarotti.
A funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at St. John Vianney Church, 4101 Clyde Park Ave. SW, Wyoming, MI 49509.
