Michael Benjamin Volpe, age 40, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Giovanna and Livio Volpe, Walter Grzybowski; cousins Emily, Nicholas, and Daniel. He is survived by his parents Michael and Nancy Volpe; grandmother, Bertha Grzybowski; Luna, the family dog, who was a great comfort to Ben; aunts and uncles Amy Benway, Walter and Linda Grzybowski, Gordon and Nancy Grzybowski, John Grzybowski, Sue and Stephen Leichty, Evelyn and Dan Coxon, Chris and Denise Grzybowski, Hank and Sally Grzybowski; and many cousins, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 1-3 p.m. prior to service. In honor of Michael, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Edison Christian Health Center.
