Mary “Alice” Carden, age 88 formerly of Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, James Edward Carden. She will be dearly missed by her children Jim and Shelley Carden, LaVonda and Mike Schutt; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Alice worked hard putting up canned goods every summer. On occasion, she would enter her goods in the fair, where she at times would win a blue ribbon. She also loved quilting with friends, and playing cards and dominos.
No funeral services will be scheduled. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Ronald McDonald House. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaregrandville.com.
