Jeffrey Scott Kraker

Beloved husband of Heather; father of Caleb (Ana), Joel (Alana), Phillip (Nicole); Opa to Jesiah, Carson, Mya, Thea, Guinevere, and Violet; brother to Steve (Judy), Tom (Glenda), Dan (Mary), Kim (John) Goodin; brother-in-law to Lyman (Vicky) Porter, Charles (Linda) Porter, Valdi Vavere; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Mary Ann Kraker and Rose and George Bouma; sisters-in-law Denise Kraker and Ileanna Vavere.

Jeff was a respected business owner of IMS Computer Systems Inc. in the Hudsonville area for over 35 years. He was the vice president of the American Decency Association Board and served as a member of the board of Thrive Ministries International. He served at Resurrection Life Church for four decades in many capacities, including children’s and nursery ministries and A/V technologies ministries. He loved creating things with his hands, landscaping, woodworking, and photography. His heart existed for serving others, especially children, to see them grow up loved. Jeff was always available at the drop of a hat no matter the circumstance.

A celebration of life service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Res Center, 5100 Ivanrest Ave. SW, Grandville, with Pastors Bernie Blauwkamp, Ryan Peters, and Leon DeHaan. The family will receive relatives and friends 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday at church with a reception following.
