Heaven is so much brighter, but the world is so much darker without the light of our dear daughter, Beth.
She touched so many lives with her love and kindness. All who knew her loved her.
Beth loved her church and everyone there, especially Pastor Charles of Oasis Church. He was her best friend.
She loved to sign to the music which was in her very soul. Beth loved the Lord with all her heart and never missed reading the Bible every night. She loved to dance to all kinds of music. Beth so enjoyed all the years spent at Round lake where she would swim and fish as well as riding on the pontoon boat. She also loved her visits to see her sisters, Cheryl in Florida, and visiting all of the theme parks. Beth also loved being up North seeing Julie’s house in the woods, bon fires and S’mores.
Beth had many jobs in her life, and she gave her best to all of them. But the job she loved the most was at Marge’s Donut Den where she greeted everyone and kept the tables clear. Marge treated Beth with kindness, love and respect.
Beth attended Lincoln High School for 23 years and went to camp for 31 consecutive years. She loved the horses at Cran-Hill Ranch, shopping with Mom on mother-daughter days, and taking long walks along the river in Newaygo.
Beth is preceded in death by her grandparents Dan (Loretta) Cumberworth, and Willis (Lena) Huffman; sister, Cheryl Cabazas; nephew, Matt Lindley; and her Aunt Helene and Uncle Ron.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her parents Don and Pat (Punch) Huffman; her sister whom she loved dearly, Julie (David) Lindley; her aunt and uncle Kayla and Ron Weber and precious nephews; step-siblings Mark (Judy) Huffman, Tim (Lynne) Huffman, Sally (James) Chapman, and Bonny (Allan) Huffman; her special life friends from Bible study Deb (Dan) Mendendorp, Dave and Jill Andrew, Tammie and Ruth DeVries, Kris (Ray) Baas, and Linda Schoonerman.
You were such a blessing from God. You made every day of your 49 years wonderful through your eyes.
Until we embrace in Heaven, dear Beth, may God hold you in His arms.
Memorial services to honor Beth will be at 11 am Friday, September, 15, 2017, with Pastor Charles Walker officiating, at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St., SW, Grandville, Michigan, with visitation starting at 10 am prior to the service.
