Earl leaves a legacy of hard work, a love for family, and a servant's heart to those in need; he was a friend to many.
He was born May 16, 1934 in Wyoming, MI to Stephen and Isabelle (Feenstra) Bouma. Earl was preceded in death by his grandson, David J. Bouma; parents; and parents-in-law Nick and Jane Havenga; and brothers-in-law Erne Miedema, Roger Tanis, Les Havenga, and Howard Kamps. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 65 years, Judy Bouma; children Dan (Barb) Bouma, David (Kathy) Bouma, Deb (Curt) Broene, Daryl Bouma, and Melissa Bouma; grandchildren Andy (Sabrina) Bouma, Todd (Kristi) Bouma, Ben (Kendra) Bouma, Shaelyn (Dirk) Baas, Brandon (Megan) Bouma, Rachel (William) Jackson, John (Mary) Broene, Julia (Mark) Brothers, Hunter Bouma, and Hanna Bouma; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters Kae Miedema, and Doris (Ron) Beek; brother, Dale (Marcia) Bouma; sister-in-law, Audrey Kamps; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may meet Earl’s family from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Hudsonville Reformed Church, 3950 Highland Dr., Hudsonville. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2021 at the church with visitation one hour prior. His service may also be viewed via livestream at https://vimeo.com/event/865426.
