Arlene Wierenga, age 84 of Jenison, went to be with the Lord Saturday, July 31, 2021. Arlene is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Donald; their children Jan (Mike) Tompkins, Daniel (Sue) Wierenga, Jack (Lori) Wierenga, Craig (Amy) Wierenga; grandchildren Lyndsay (Jake), Jordan, Tory, Kara (Jordan), Jennifer (Kevin), Joshua, Ryan (Chessa), Kylee (Dustin), Alexis, Eric (Jamie), Racheal (Paul); great-grandchildren Bretyn, Ella, Emerson, Josephine, Brody, Ashton, Jaxon, Olivia, and Parker; brother, Russ (Bernice) Marcusse; brother and sisters-in-law Roger Wierenga, Phyllis and Rodger DeVries, Elaine Wierenga, Marcia Schutter, Marge Faber; and many extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Baldwin Christian Reformed Church, 2101 Baldwin St., Jenison, with Pastor John Witvliet officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville and one hour prior to services at church on Wednesday.
