William Bill Howard Oswald Sr.

William Howard Oswald, 82, Grandview, MO, passed away February 18, 2012 at home, surrounded by his loved ones. Bill was born May 31, 1929 in Cameron, MO, to William and Kathleen. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; 5 children, Bill and wife Mary, Ron, Cindy, Becky, & Ben; sister, Helen Rigg; 12 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953. He retired from General Motors in 1990. He was a loving husband and father. Bill loved summer vacations with his family, fishing, scouting, and tinkering in his workshop. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, and funeral services at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, at McGilley & George Funeral Home in Grandview.
