Veronica “Ronnie” Ann Hummel, 67, of Stover, MO, formerly of Grandview, passed peacefully at her home, April 16, 2016. Visitation, Thursday, April 21, 2016 1-2pm with service at 2pm; McGilley & George Funeral Home 12913 Grandview Rd. Grandview MO. Contributions are suggested to The American Diabetes Association. She was born in Kansas City, MO to Vernon Troy Guy and Elizabeth Gertrude Sloppy on January 4, 1949. Ronnie retired after 20 years as V.P. for Grandview Bank and then had a second career with Gentiva Health Services. After 14 years with them, she retired to Lake of the Ozarks where she loved to fish, cook and spend time with her family. Ronnie also loved to travel with friends.
Ronnie is preceded by her parents, a sister, Rita Guy. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Hamilton (Gary) of Stover, MO; her son, David Hummel Jr. of Adrian, MO; her grandchildren, Clayton Mathis and Makenna Hummel; a sister Jane Bell; her ex-husband & best friend David Hummel Sr. of the home.
