Myra Lee Medlin, 81, of Kansas City, MO, passed away February 22, 2012 at Edgewood Manor. Memorial visitation will be 11-12 p.m., the service following at noon on Saturday, March 10, at McGilley & George Funeral Home in Grandview. Contributions suggested to the American Heart Association . Myra was born December 29, 1930 in Omaha, NE, to Roy Lee Phelps and Eva Fern McCart Phelps. She was a lifelong area resident and was a LPN. Myra was a baseball fan and involved in area girl's soft ball teams. She was known as "Grandma". Myra enjoyed bowling and needle point. Preceded in death by sisters, Mary Helen Stevens and Doris Johnson; brother, Robert Phelps. She is survived by her husband of many years, Thomas R. Medlin; brother, Roy Phelps, Grandview, MO; and sister, Eva and James Richardson, Leawood, KS.
