Glenn Michael O'Dell

Glenn Michael O’Dell, age 62 of 15318 White Ave. Grandview, MO, passed away December 22, 2014 at the home from cancer. Memorial graveside services will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101.

Glenn was born on December 28, 1951 in Kansas City, MO. He was united in marriage to Karen Bass and they shared 32 wedded years together. They had 3 children between them, Robert, Cassandra and Cody O’Dell.

Glenn was retired from Defense Finance and Accounting Service after 27 years. He was also a Vietnam Veteran and an Air Force Reservist in the 1980’s.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Breidel and father, Glenn R. O’Dell and his grandparents, Lily and Harry O’Dell.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Karen O’Dell of the home; his children, Robert Michael O’Dell, Texas, Cassandra O’Dell, Belton MO, Cody O’Dell, of the home; grandchildren, David O’Dell, Texas, Josiah O’Dell, Texas, Christopher Welch, Belton MO, Traelynn and Quinton Sibley, Belton MO, Landon McGaughey, of the home; his sister, Debra Jacobs, Mississippi; one great grandchild, Leighton Eli O’Dell, Texas, and countess cousins, nieces and nephews.
