I always enjoyed visiting Aunt Elaine, she had such a pretty and "electric" smile!  She literally lit up the room with that sweet smile of hers. Of course, it didn't go unnoticed that she was also a very sweet lady too!

I've been so impressed with the attentiveness that Sue and Jan bestowed upon her in her later years.  You seemed to work so closely together in providing the kind of care most any parent would love to have from their children.  It speaks volumes about  Aunt Elaine's parenting that you ladies took such good care of her time of need.

I'm sorry to say that missed her 90th birthday party and, in fact, had not visited with Aunt Elaine in quite some time, however, I have plenty of memories with visits growing up and I savour those.

Living so far away, unless something changes I most likely will not be attending her memorial service either. As I mentioned to Sue, I'd like to be kept in the loop with details of it so I can make a point of being there in spirit.

Such a wonderful lady and so many memories of the times I had with her at the reunion aand family outings with the Petersen's, Schaefer's and Routzhan's over the years. I had such A GOOD TIMWE WITH HER ON THE 90TH AND WILL MISS HER GREATLY.
