Arva Jean Dunnette

Arva Jean Dunnette, aged 85, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, January 10, 2015. Arva is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years Rolland “Huck” Dunnette who passed away in 1989. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Steve (Jerilyn) Dunnette, Jill (Doug) Richardson, Jan (Tom) Host, and Scott (Betty) Dunnette. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Aaron (Kelly), Jason, Josh (Lauren), Lindsey, Anthony, Amanda (Alex), Devra (Matt), Jessica (Anthony); and great-grandchildren Jackson, Lily, Charlie, Caleb, Caroline, and Brooklynn. Arva took pride working in school administration for Sparta and Kenowa Hills School Districts for many years. She also was an avid seamstress who never stopped. Please join the family for a time of visitation at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 2-4p and 6-8pm on Friday, January 16, 2015. The Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church (1379 Harding St. Conklin, MI 49403) with Pastor Mark Oswald officiating. There will be an additional visitation at church from 10-11am on Saturday, January 17, 2015. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial contribution in honor of Arva to either the Helen’s DeVos Children’s Hospital (100 Michigan St. NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503) or to the Ronald McDonald House (2502 Cherry St., Kansas City, MO 64108).
