Wayne T. Lynch

Wayne T. Lynch passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at the age of 88. He was born in Dallas, Texas, on January 8, 1935. Wayne got his GED after joining the Navy. He was married to Edith Louise Lynch on March 28, 1960, and became a widower on January 16, 2002.

Wayne joined the Navy and served for 14 and a half years. After his time in the service he worked for himself as a carpenter and mechanic. He retired from Laurel Land Memorial Park as head mechanic.

He had been a member of Shady Grove Church, where he served as a home pastor and deacon.

Wayne loved the guitar and taught himself at a young age to play on a steel lap guitar. He had a passion for motorcycles, putting things back together, and old westerns.

He is survived by his four children, Dennis Lynch, Tom Lynch, Randy Lynch, and daughter, Patti Lynch, his four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and multiple nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Wayne will be held Monday, January 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 North Davis Drive, Arlington, TX 76012.
