His accomplishments in life include military service in the US Army, serving as Vice President of the Friends of the Grand Prairie Memorial Library for 10+ years, a tenure of more than 40 years with the US Post Office, RCIA instructor, a member of the Knights of Columbus, and NAACP. He considered starting a family his greatest accomplishment. Having travelled the world in search of his love, he returned home after leaving the military to buy a house and found her living right next door. He married Gloria (Gloriazilla or Sweetheart as he liked to call her depending on the circumstance) and settled down to his dream of being a husband and father. Tim is survived by his wife of almost 40 years and their children, Andrew Thomas, Monica Christina, and Robert Lee.
He is also survived by, and was proud of, son-in-law Josh Michael, beloved grandchildren, Jedi Michael and Aayla Christina, sister Paula Christina, brothers Mike and Shawn, numerous nieces and nephews, and in-laws who are forever grateful of his care of their mother in her final year.
Tim had a deep love of the simple pleasures of life, talking with his family, caring for his furry family including a menagerie of stray cats and dogs, and dreaming up new ways to surprise and delight his grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Pampaw.”
Rest in peace, Sweetheart, you will be forever loved and never forgotten.
