Thomas H. McCormick(72) passed away September 26, 2013 in Arlington, TX. He was born February 12, 1941 in Ada, OK to Thomas H. and Mary McCormick.He lived in many states growing up, ending in Arizona, graduating at Camel Back High. In 1960 Arizona he met Barbara Blaker, his future wife. Before marriage in 1962 he served his country for 2 years in the US Navy. He and Barbara began their family in Arizona,then move to Grand Prairie, TX in 1970. A man of many hobbies, enjoying hunting and fishing. A member of the JC’s Club (Junior Chamber of Commerce Mavericks) in Scottsdale, AZ, where he particpated in western re-enactment. He was a fan of John Wayne and considered a history buff. A hard working man, he could be a bit stubborn, but always had a good sense of humor, even when it was dry. He dabbled in amateur radio, and always enjoyed watching football and baseball. Above all he loved his family. With his grown, he made sure he had time spoiling his grandchildren.After retiring, he and Barbara traveled often, through western Arizona, the west coast, parts of Canada, to Yellowstone National Park and Laughlin, NV. Survivors: wife Barbara McCormick, sons, Duncan McCormick and David McCormick, daughter Lourie Floyd, grandchildren Ashley Floyd and Jason McCormick, sister Linda McKee, brothers Don McCormick and Robert McCormick as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
