Terry Alan Roberts

Terry was a lifelong resident of Grand Prairie. He was an active member of Matthew Road Baptist Church, where he showed Christ's love through many acts of service. Terry was employed by Snider Fleet Solutions, where he was a service manager. He was respected for his extensive knowledge in truck repair and his willingness to do whatever it took to meet the customers' needs.

Terry loved his family, and would do anything for them. He was so very proud of his children and grandchildren. Terry and Susie loved DisneyWorld, spending time there as often as possible. Terry could always be found wearing a Disney t-shirt to brighten your day.

Following a brave battle with cancer, Terry entered Heaven and met his Lord face to face on August 4, 2016.

Terry was preceded in death by father Jerry Alan Roberts.

Terry is survived by: Wife Susie Roberts of Grand Prairie, Son Travis Roberts and wife Trish of Arlington, Daughter Stephany Valkenaar and husband Dennis of Arlington, Son Alex Dean and wife Alicia of Lakeland, FL, Daughter Maggie Dean of Grand Prairie, Mother LaVerne Roberts of Grand Prairie, Sister Sharon Snipes and husband Scott of Grand Prairie, Sister Rhonda Hailey and husband Curtis of Mansfield, Grandchildren Penni , Daxx ,and coming new baby Valkenaar of Arlington and Henry Dean of Lakeland FL., Numerous family members and a host of loving friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 7 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home. The funeral will take place on Monday, August 8 at Matthew Road Baptist Church at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Terry can be made to Matthew Road Baptist Church for the playground project or missions.
