Rosa was a kind, loving and giving woman who never turned anyone away. She loved to cook and bake for her family and this is why she worked for the School systems in Grand Prairie, Arlington and Dallas for many years. She loved her family and having gatherings at her house. She enjoyed the chance to cook for family and friends as often as she could. No one ever left hungry, and almost always someone took leftovers. She loved to sing and dance with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rosa was one of the happiest people anyone could ever know. Her children and family were her life. She loved gardening and planting beautiful flowers, growing veggies and being outdoors. Her glorious smile and gracious heart will be sorely missed at every gathering.
Rosa is preceded in death by her parents Acension Rodriguez and Celia Rodriguez, husband, Octaviano Guajardo, three brothers Alberto, Raul and Ruben Rodriguez, and sister Delia .
She is survived by her children, her son Rolando Guajardo and wife Cindy, her daughters Norma Valadez and husband Homer and Minerva Lee and husband David . Brothers Eliseo Rodriguez, and Ramon Rodriguez . Sisters Tina Martinez, Oralia Garza, Rebecca Garcia, Aurora Rojas , Esmeralda Rodriguez, Ester Jimenez, Amelia Saucillo and Maria Elena Bermudez. Grandchildren David Lee, Rosalyn Lee-Taylor, Homer Valadez III, Celia Valadez-Pimentel, and Luis Valadez, Rolando Guajardo Jr., Leticia Guajardo, Jaime Guajardo Michael Guajardo and Joseph Guajardo. She also had 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are David Lee, Homer Valadez III, Jaime Guajardo, Luis Valadez, Rolando Guajardo Jr. , Michael Guajardo and Joseph Guajardo.
