Richard Clyde Brown

Richard Clyde Brown, age 77, was born on October 12, 1934 in Ralls, TX to Richard and Elzie Brown. He died at his home in Plano, TX surrounded by family on June 28, 2012. Mr. Brown served in the Coast Guard from 1953 to 1957. He was based in San Diego, CA and Norfolk, VA. He worked in the automotive parts industry earlier in his life, then 25 plus years hanging wallpaper in new homes before returning to the auto parts industry. Mr. Brown loved the West Texas area, especially the Shoemaker farm that remains an important place in the family. He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister, Joyce Adkins of Ralls, TX; the mother of his children, Jodean Brown, of Corsicana, TX; his daughters Shelley Watts and her husband Charlie of Frost, TX; Stacey Brown of Plano, TX; and Deana Paskow and husband Roger of Allen, TX; his sons: Creath Arbuckle of Grand Prairie, TX; and Murray Arbuckle and his wife Carol of Frisco, TX; along with 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; an aunt and an uncle; 2 nieces and a nephew, and many cousins.
