During the World War II Liberation, he was a confidant/right hand man of the head of the guerilla movement in Lingayen, Pangasinan. This unit was headed by Colonel Tomelden who later became his godfather for his wedding. He met our beloved mother through him. He began a long career in Government Service Insurance System and retired as a Regional Manager. In 1976, he migrated to the United States with the hopes of offering more opportunities to his family. He spent his retired years caring for his grandchildren and being active in his religious community of St. Michael the Archangel in Grand Prairie, TX.
Our beloved father and grandfather possessed many admirable qualities. He made friends with everyone he met from the President of the Philippines to the local market vendors. He was a good provider and a responsible contributing member of the community. With him, the well of generosity ran deep in his veins. In his younger years, he did incredible things to improve other lives by providing jobs as well as opening his house to feed those in need. He was always willing to go the extra mile to those less fortunate.
While we are deeply saddened by the loss of our patriarch we take comfort in knowing that he is finally reunited with the love of his life.
