Norman Lee Clark, renowned for his infectious laughter and quirky jokes, also known as ‘Normisms’, passed away on August 2, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of humor and love. With a knack for turning any situation into a punchline, Norman made sure life was one big comedy show.
Norman was born December 6, 1947 in Buffalo, New York. He was a Navy veteran who served on the fast-attack nuclear submarine U.S.S Barb during the Vietnam war. He took the technical training he received from the Navy and went into the IT world, becoming a network instructor and technician. But even with his technical expertise, he never lost his love of music. Norman studied music starting in high school and college. He won awards, sang opera, and later choral music with his wife Paula. He also wrote and arranged music for choir, band, and his wife’s violin studio. Although he didn’t quite get to do as much of it as he would have liked, he still achieved his dream of conducting and composing music that could be enjoyed by many.
Survived by his wife Paula, the woman brave enough to stand by his side, Norman found his perfect partner in laughter. His son Timothy continues his legacy by expanding the family tradition of groan-worthy wordplay, much to the amusement (and eye-rolling) of his wife Chelsea and their children Trinity and Tristan.
Please join Norman's family for a celebration of his life at 11:00 am, Saturday August 26th, 2023 at Kingdom Life Church, located at 12330 Rolater Road. Frisco, TX 75035.
