Margaret Lavee Hermanson Thompson

Margaret grew up in Wichita Falls where she married her high school sweetheart and had 3 children. She was a member of Doe's (women's auxiliary) and an educator with the Grand Prairie ISD for 33 years before retiring in the late 80's.

Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, reading and the comforts of home. She was light hearted with a good sense of humor. A devoted wife and loving mother; she will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her children: Gary Peeples, Linda Hoskins, Venus Peterson and her husband, Pete; brother William "Bill" Askew, 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A graveside service will occur Monday, December 23, 2019 from 9:30 AM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75221.
