Jonathan graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 2002. He attended Northwood University in Cedar Hill, Texas where he studied Computer Programming. During this time he learned to drive a forklift and he worked for Motion Industries from 2008 until 2018 as an Order Puller, and from 2019 - 2024 he was Head Trainer/Order Puller at Canon USA, Inc.
Jonathan played baseball since he was able to hit a ball and was known for his line drives right down the baseline. This love created a passion for collecting and selling sports memorabilia in all sports; the NFL, NBA and NBL.
Jonathan is preceded in death by his father, John L. Wilson.
He is survived by his mother, Rose Mary Richard; step-father, Joseph C. Richard; fiance, Priscilla Salazar; daughters, Mariah and Madison Wilson; brothers, Andre Ward of Grand Prairie, TX, Shannon Ward (Martha) of McKinney, TX, Jamie Ward of Grand Prairie, TX, and Joshua (Keysha) Wilson of Fort Worth, TX, Joseph C. Richard, III of Grand Prairie, TX; and sister, Rose Massengale of Cedar Hill, TX.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many treasured friends.
A visitation for Jonathan will be held Friday, November 15, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A second visitation will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30 AM. A committal service will follow at 1:30 PM at Southland Cemetery at 1100 SW 3rd Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75051. Serving as pallbearers are Mathew Brundrett, Otto Ambrose Skidmore, Robert Moreno, Barclay Angelo, William Cooper and Chauncy Spires. Honorary Pallbearers are twin brother Joshua Wilson, Luke Tragella, Joseph C. Richard, III, Christopher Ward, Michael Ward, and Luke Currier.
