She will be greatly missed, as will her life partner, Daryl Conforto. The two of them loved going to movies, especially horror movies and they loved Halloween.
Daryl Anthony Conforto was born in Metairie Louisiana on June 27, 1978. He had three brothers, Gary, Philip, and a sister Pricilla; his mother, Kathleen lives in Metairie, as does his sister, brother-in-law and nephew, Roger, age 5. He has many cousins, 5 aunts and 5 uncles. They had many family outings and gathering in parks all over New Orleans was a wonderful life for all of us. Daryl met the love of his life, Jeanette, in Special Olympics. He was smitten with Jeanette from the beginning. It was a sweet and loving relationship that lasted from age 13, until their passing in September 2022.
Darrell and Jeanette loved their two sweet cats, Boo and Lillian. He will be fondly remembered as a loving man, who enjoyed doing anything Jeanette asked of him. He loved hard rock music and his favorite color was purple, LSU colors, because he was a mega fan of LSU and the New Orleans Saints. Later he finally came around to liking the Dallas Cowboys.
Daryl and Jeanette were together 12 years, but had known each other for 30 years. Jeanette loved to dance and they shared a passion for coloring and painting.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Baldemar (BT) Solíz and Fortino Flores, Sr., and her cousin Nico Soliz.
She is survived by her mother, Norma Flores and Fernando (Ida) Flores, brother Michael (Lally) Flores and her three nieces, Leilani, Ariel and Isla. She is also survived by her grandmother Juanita Soliz, her uncles, Baldemar (Betty) Solíz, Danny (Jean) Solíz, Robert, James, and Roy Solíz, and her aunt Joann (Robbie) Lane. She is also survived by her grandmother, Eloisa Flores and her aunts Mari and Sandra Flores, Norma De Luna, and uncles Fortino (Maggie) Flores, Pablo Flores and the late Joe Flores, and numerous cousins.
