He was born in San Diego, California, on December 14th, 1960. James Thomas graduated from Bonita Vista High School in San Diego, CA.
He was currently working as a private security guard at AT&T stadium.
James cared for his family as a devoted son, brother, and Father. He was sweet and caring but, most importantly, loved his children and grandchildren. He entered the room, and it would become filled with laughter.
Remember James? He was the ultimate tech guru, a gaming enthusiast, and a master at creating gaming platforms. Remember his love for sci-fi movies and cracking jokes! But what made him shine was his love for people and his knack for storytelling. And let's remember his obsession with tacos, especially the ones from taco trucks and Los Panchos in Chula Vista, CA.
James had a way of touching lives like no one else. His charm was undeniable, and his absence will be deeply felt. We'll never forget him for his humor, his legendary BBQ parties with the neighbors, and his unwavering love for his family.
Yes, he wasn't perfect, but he found peace with God. His memories will live on in our hearts, a constant reminder of how to live life to the fullest.
Let's keep his spirit alive as we reflect on life. And remember, he is survived by his loving mother, Verl Kathleen Thomas (Steele).
Children: Eleesia, Calvin, Dorian, and Cameron; Grandchildren: Nylah, Jayden, Brielle, Williams, I'liana, Thaila Williams, and Thea Thomas; Sister: Tanya Walker. His nieces, nephews & cousins, and the rest of his family and friends.
James is preceded in death by his Father, James Calvin Thomas, and Sister Barbra Gipson.
